Life doesn't always go according to plan. Sometimes it gets messy, sometimes it breaks your heart, and sometimes it brings blessings you never saw coming. We've learned that all three can exist at the same time.

We're Angie and Aric, a husband-and-wife team, navigating the beautiful, complicated, and sometimes downright chaotic world of blended family life. We started Blended, Blessed & Always a Mess to have honest conversations about the things that make us human: marriage, parenting, blended families, faith, grief, relationships, and everything in between.

We're not experts with a perfect formula for making life work. We're two people who have experienced the highs, the hard seasons, the unexpected turns, and the kind of loss that changes you forever. We've learned that love doesn't always make things easy, faith doesn't mean you won't have questions, and sometimes the strongest thing you can do is simply keep showing up.

Through real conversations, personal stories, lessons learned the hard way, and conversations with guests who have their own stories to share, we hope to remind you that you're not alone in whatever season you're walking through.

Around here, we believe in choosing love, leading with faith, finding purpose in the hard things, laughing when we can, crying when we need to, and giving ourselves grace along the way.

Because life is rarely picture-perfect. Families are complicated. Marriage takes work. Faith gets tested. And sometimes the biggest blessings come wrapped in the messiest packages.
